30 Months is Tough?

Are we being serious here people? Are we really calling a 30 month sentence for murder tough?

I know he wasn't charged with murder, being drunk and driving the wrong way down a one-way street and slamming into a tow truck is not murder. Getting drunk and accidently shooting someone is at least manslaughter, in this case he just used a bigger gun!

There is no way that average people are satisfied at all with the way the justice system is treating criminals. If this keeps up, we might as well fire all the police officers in Winnipeg, seems pointless to have the front line doing it's job and everyone else letting them down.

It's time for a shake up people! We need tougher laws and we need them now! Not after more innocents sacrifice their lives to the bleeding heart, criminal coddlers in government.

  1. New Laws would be good.

Elected Judges would be better, or at least making them justify their actions to someone.

And honestly I wouldn't mind the seeing the front line workers be allowed to use, we'll say, a heavy hand some times.

Its getting to the point now, and some of my friend agree, that I would take a 'knock' on the head if I knew that my wife and kids would be able to walk down the streets at night.

Of course non of these things will happen in the next year or so, so I'm just going to get a gun and a rocking chair.

    Nice blog, love the pic!
